TECH Update — FROM JON: I updated some behind the scenes components of the project. Developers now have the option to use CVS to update the site and keep a local copy on their machine. Also, now multimedia files under 10 mb are allowed to be referenced in the print edition. This is an experiment to see how this project can move forward in new directions. 2004.07.14 0:00 PST
SCALE is in Archive status. It will hopefully come back one day :)
[ Scale Journal ]
A lot of work has gone in over the last two years to make SCALE possible. many thanks go out to many people, including all of the core group (SCALED-B), guest editors, and perhaps most importantly to all of the time and work of our contributors. For the time being SCALE is in an 'Archive' state, meaning all of the past issues will still be available, but there is no plan presently to publish more issues. This may change in the future, or we may link more directly into our core group's current projects, especially rejon's and deegan's convergences. Until then we wish all of you the best; keep in touch, and check in with the SCALE community to keep our links active and the socialnetwork bright.

Current — The sixth issue of SCALE will 'go to press' at the end of July. This issue is different from the previous SCALEs in many ways, but primarily in its new on-line-only format. I new website interface will accompany SCALE No.06. SCALE is growing, changing, and testing new opportunities for self-organization. 2004.05.15 21:15 PST
